Life in the Fade.

A Correction in the error of ways.

“Sands in the north, rich soils beneath
Three times three, let them see, let them see.
Winds of the east, run through the trees
Three times three, set them free, set them free.
Fires in the south, awaken from sleep
Three times three, let them see, let them see.
Water of the west, flow to the seas
Three times three, set them free, set them free.”

With all my best intentions, So Mote it be.

I cannot cope with intolerance…

Of any sort. It compeltely rattles my cage and makes me wanna scream.

I saw a post a few moments ago of some guy with a leaflet about some pagan society at a university… and the HATRED that followed in the posts was just absolutely disgraceful.

Regardless of whether your beliefs are different to others is irrelevant. People are free to believe what they want and should not feel trapped or be scrutinized by others because of it. If you condemn a person’s beliefs, you are condemning them and taking away their human rights to a degree - Their freedom. NO religion endorses that.

Not all Christians think everyone’s going to hell.

Not all Muslims are suicide bombers.

Not all pagans worship Satan.. if ANY.

What about the Golden Rule in Christianity? “Love your Neighbour as yourself”. That means you should strive to love EVERYONE universally. Put aside your petty differences and show kindness and compassion. Hate of any sort, racism/sexism/discrimination of faith or orientation, does not follow that rule.

Is it so hard for people to let go of their pride and see that there are other views than their own? Are they frightened that the paths chosen by others my somehow dash their chances of a happy afterlife?

Intolerance caused the deaths of over 50,000 people in the witch hunts, thousands of lives in the Crusades and millions in the Holocaust.

Hatred is bred from ignorance; Understand other belief systems and cultures. The overlaps in them are phenomenal. Is it not possible that all these paths lead to the same end?

Shut up and get on with it; we all live here together. Why not enjoy each others company?

Love to All
